Lightroom 3 Review.
Lightroom, one of the highest publicly acclaimed pieces of software for photo management and editing is undoubtedly of high standard; however Lightroom 2 was certainly not a perfect program in many photographers’ eyes.
Lightroom 2 has the potential to be the cornerstone of digital photography editing and photo management, though its ultimately let down by a few sharp edges, namely with regards to catalogue and folder systems that just do not work with some peoples preferred file systems, Lightroom 2’s colour production also did not meet some peoples standards, it failed to obtain the natural colours that other photo editing software achieved effortlessly – needless to say they can be achieved with Lightroom 2, however it’s debatable whether Lightroom 2’s advantages outweigh its albeit small hic-cups when other software gets the job done.
